Called the Lego Christmas Land, it is made entirely from Lego blocks and located in front of the Hobbes and Landes shop on Bonifacio High Street. According to the people behind the festive display, it will remain there until January.

With the theme “Building a better future for Filipino children one brick at a time,” the project aims to raise funds with the United Nations Children’s Fund and World Vision as beneficiaries.

The display was inspired by the Lego Sports City which was set up in Hong Kong during the Beijing Olympics, the organizers said.

Nevertheless, we thought that this is something worth including in our “Only in the Philippines” journal.
